The French Door is located in a very nice complex of smaller suites, which, is unsuspecting at first. Once you step into the doors of her cute studio you are instantly carried away to a delicious spa!
I have seen her for waxing and facials. She is so knowledgable and because of her recommendations my skin is flawless and I no longer need to cover up inconsistencies with MAC makeup. I have successfully transitioned to using Jan Marini products and when I need makeup, use Bare Essentials. Thank you, Jen!!!
Word to the wise: book in advance. If you need a wax for the weekend you should get on her books two weeks before that weekend! Maybe even three! This is par for the course when you're as awesome as she is. I hope you all enjoy!!"

Jen should be dubbed the "Bay Area Brow God-(dess)". I started going to Jen back in the beginning of September with over-plucked brows holding absolutely no shape. Since then my face has transformed! Slowly but surely my brows are growing in and Jen is doing an amazing job shaping them when I go in for my routine waxing. Huge plus that Jen's own brows are a total inspiration and when she talks about brows you can tell she is a total expert =)
I can't wait to try some of her other services!
Jen is so lovely! She helped me with an unsightly skin issue that wasn't resolving. Her care yielded immediate results. Her space is DARLING and super clean. I can relax fully and zen out or chat it up with her for a great conversation. She's a gem on the peninsula.
She also has a fabulous line of products that I've never seen elsewhere and they work really well. Thank you, Jen!

I rarely treat myself to a massage, let alone a massage/facial combo, but after meeting Jen and seeing how flawless and gorgeous her skin is and after a recent car accident, I couldn't resist booking an appointment. It was the best decision I've ever made! Her massage was relaxing and enjoyable while she effectively worked through my knots and really took her time on my facial, not missing a thing! My skin was glowing and felt so clean and refreshed! She was also really informative and helped to educate me about my products and advise me on better alternatives to skin care and make-up. I think this experience is going to make me a little more selfish because I'm going to start treating myself a lot more! ; ) Thanks Jen!
I adore Jen! I have a history of overplucking my eyebrows and after my mom and sister recommended Jen, my eyebrows have never looked better! She explained where I was overtweezing without making me feel dumb and showed me how I should be doing it. I never thought I'd be the type to pay monthly for eyebrow waxing but she does such an amazing job that it's become a priority. The best part is that she makes you feel so welcome and comfortable - it just feels like you're visiting a friend! I will definitely be coming back monthly.

If I could give Jen more than 5 stars, I would. I have never had a better facial in my life, I don't think it exists. Her space is so inviting and she is a such a genuine and talented young lady. My skin is always glowing after my signature facial. I've used endless products purchased from medspa's and plastic surgeons - top of the line. My skin is always either too dry, too oily, or ends up breaking out. Nothing has made my skin glow like the lines she carries. I'm so grateful to have found her! I just moved to Marin, but plan to drive to Redwood City just to see Jen. Love her!
